Harald Bathelt，华东师大智库兼职研究员、紫江学者，国际著名经济地理学家，加拿大多伦多大学政治学系终身教授。兼任加拿大总理任命的加拿大国家创新与治理高级研究会主席、德国总理聘任的德国联邦政府国家创新体系建设国际顾问、国际地理联合会IGU空间经济专业委员会委员（SEC）、经济地理学顶级期刊Journal of Economic Geography主编、国际著名学术刊物Economic Geography编委等职。主持过多个德国国家项目，发表过70余篇学术论文，出版著作28部。主要研究领域为：创新与集群发展；产业结构调整与治理系统；全球化与区域化。Harald Bathelt教授是我校多年的合作伙伴，合作开展了有关中国长三角城市群发展的多个研究项目，也多次共同组织国际会议，定期到校为博、硕士研究生授课。
